A 50-year-old female, Karina Cloete, was arrested at Walvis Bay on Monday for the alleged illegal possession of elephant tusks. Cloete made a first appearance in the Walvis Bay magistrates court on Wednesday and was released on bail of N$10 000. She returns to court on 10 February.
