Several residents at Langstrand have reported in recent weeks how swarms of locusts systematically invaded gardens and public open spaces, destroying plants and trees.

The locusts disappeared for a while but has now returned with the east weather, residents report. Pictures herewith shows the damage done to even the palm trees.
