Lüderitz, the port town some 400km South of Walvis Bay, is rapidly gaining the reputation as Namibia’s green energy hub. The town already has a 5MW wind farm [three generators] and plans for the development of the 44MW Diaz Wind Farm of the United Africa Group are already at an advanced stage. Now a third wind-park a 40MW capacity plant some 16 km South of the town, is envisaged.
